Rebecca Tucker

Rebecca commenced painting in 2020 during lockdown, after finding an unused box of conte soft pastels that were her daughter’s 18th gift some years before.

It took no time for her to fall completely in love with the soft pastel medium and her art journey began.

Primarily self taught with some lessons and workshops as guidance Rebecca is establishing her style through her love of nature and has become especially fond of painting Australian birds and landscapes.

Her works have been recognised with a 1st place in the flower painting section of the 2023 Singleton art prize and a highly commended with a Bird painting in the Kurri Kurri art prize 2023.
